Francesc Costa i Carrera
(Barcelona, ​​1891-1959) was a violinist and music teacher Catalan.

Francesc Costa was a disciple of Saints Felix and Clement Ibarguren at the Municipal School of Music of Barcelona City Council of this city was granted a scholarship to study at the Conservatory of Brussels with Alfred Marchot, which won the first prize at the conservatory.

In 1914 he debuted as a soloist and became a popular figure in the music scene in Barcelona. He did concerts for Europe, Africa and America, both solo and with orchestra. In 1922 he became professor of violin at the School City of Barcelona.
